About The Position

Ochsner Children’s Hospital is recruiting a BC/BE Pediatric Neurologist to join our team in New Orleans, LA. Recent graduates and experienced physicians are welcomed to apply. Salary offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience and training. Our neurology team includes neurologists with subspecialty expertise in stroke, neurointensive care, movement disorders, epilepsy, pain management, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders, and neuroimaging. Ochsner Children’s, comprised of more than 85 primary care pediatricians who are part of our group of over 290 pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists in 27 locations across Louisiana and Mississippi is the region’s leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. We offer a full range of complex specialty services including congenital heart surgery and cardiac transplantation, liver and bone marrow transplantation, advanced GI and Hepatology, Hematology-Oncology and AYA Oncology, and a comprehensive surgical sub-specialty group including Cleft Palate/Cranio-Facial Surgery, advanced spine surgery and the Gulf South’s only comprehensive, multidisciplinary developmental pediatrics center.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology.
• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical license to practice in Louisiana.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a pediatric setting.
• Fellowship training in a pediatric neurology subspecialty.
• Interest in academic medicine and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care in pediatric neurology.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists.
