About The Position

Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent (PMCH) has an opportunity for a BE/BC Pediatric Endocrinologist in Indianapolis, IN. This is an excellent opportunity that focuses on inpatient, outpatient, and new patient populations while consulting in the hospital and providing support to triage nurses and nurse practitioners when necessary. We are an established pediatric endocrinology program. While we are not a primary research clinic, we can support an applicant’s interests. Current subspecialty clinics include a pre-diabetes clinic, metabolic bone clinic and lipid clinic. There is always availability for anyone to explore their pediatric endocrinology interests. Practice Highlights: Experienced physician staff and nurse practitioner support Office hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday Opportunity to assist with lipid and/or prediabetes clinic Average of 1-2 phone calls per night 10 total exam rooms Expected patient volume in office per day of 8-12 Expected patient volume in hospital per day of 2-5 Member of the largest nonprofit health system in the country, Ascension Health Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent is part of Indiana’s largest not-for-profit health system with 22 ministries and over 3000 physicians. Features include: An attached tertiary care pediatric hospital with 40 private inpatient beds and 8 short stay beds, staffed in-house 24/7 by our Pediatric Hospitalist group; a 23-bed PICU staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Intensivists; a 17-bed Pediatric Emergency department staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Emergency physicians; and Indiana’s largest Level IV NICU with 96 beds staffed 24/7 by Neonatologists. Requirements

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
