Ochsner Health in New Orleans is seeking board certified/board eligible physicians to join our Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center and Ochsner Children's Hospital. This position is part of an employed physician group that offers competitive fair market compensation plus benefits. The facilities utilize Epic electronic health records, integrating care across the system and facilitating seamless multi-hospital practice. Ochsner Children's program includes 88 primary care pediatricians in 27 locations in Louisiana and Mississippi, and pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists totaling over 270 physicians. The group is the region's leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. Ochsner Children's currently cares for patients in a 67-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 14-bed PICU, a 12-bed pediatric CV-ICU, and a dedicated pediatric emergency room, supported by a 24-7 dedicated pediatric and neonatal transport team. Additionally, Ochsner Children's Hospital has an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program and is responsible for teaching pediatric residents from the Tulane-Ochsner Pediatric Residency program as well as medical students from both Tulane and the University of Queensland, Australia.
