The Orthopedic Trauma Section is currently 5 Fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma surgeons looking for an additional Orthopedic Trauma surgeon due to increasing clinical volumes. The ideal candidate will specialize in management and treatment of adult upper and lower extremity fractures and pelvic/acetabular fractures. The candidate is expected to be a team player with impeccable collegiality. Candidate is expected to practice by example with respect to work ethic, integrity, and collegiality. High emotional intelligence and maturity is a must.   • Manage and treat adult upper and lower extremity fractures and pelvic/acetabular fractures.
  • Teach and train orthopedic surgery residents and medical students.
  • Collaborate with a team of orthopedic trauma surgeons and support staff.
  • Participate in research and development of the department.
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital.
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma from an accredited institution
  • Must be able to obtain full MI license
  • Required Bachelor's Degree
  • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association if required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
