About The Position
WVUHS Medical Group seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Charleston, WV and South Charleston, WV. WVU Medicine Thomas Orthopedic Hospital is located in downtown Charleston, WV. We provide advanced orthopedic care to residents of Kanawha County and surrounding communities. West Virginia’s capital city is perfectly positioned at the confluence of the Kanawha and Elk Rivers. It is also where three major interstates converge, making it highly accessible. Charleston boasts the history you would expect of a capital city, but a growing arts scene and its riverside position make it a hub for recreation and culture, too. Requirements
- Applicants must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license.
- Successful candidates must have completed an orthopedic surgery residency, and a fellowship in orthopedic surgery, orthopedic sports surgery or orthopedic foot and ankle surgery.
- Candidate must be board certified or eligible in orthopedic surgery.
- All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
