About The Position

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join Orthopedics Northwest, a well-established practice in Central Washington. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited orthopedic residency program.
• Board eligible/board certified orthopedic surgeon.
• License in the state of WA by time of employment.
• Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a subspecialty of orthopedics such as sports medicine or spine surgery.
• Interest in teaching medical students or residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform orthopedic surgeries and procedures.
• Conduct patient consultations and rounds.
• Collaborate with subspecialty partners in the practice.
• Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents.
• Manage call responsibilities, approximately 5 days per month.
