About The Position

Join multiple established primary care sports medicine physicians within the orthopedic department. This is a full-time position combining sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine orthopedics in an exclusively outpatient professional practice setting. The practice involves patients of all ages, including athletes and the general population. Clinical responsibilities include procedures, joint aspirations, injections, as well as fracture care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved training program in the United States.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in family practice, internal medicine, physical medicine and rehab, or emergency medicine.
  • Fellowship training in primary care sports medicine.
  • Certification in sports medicine.
  • Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine orthopedic care in an outpatient setting.
  • Perform clinical procedures including joint aspirations and injections.
  • Manage fracture care for patients.
  • Collaborate with other medical specialties and sub-specialties to provide patient-centered care.
