About The Position

Piedmont Oncology, Piedmont Healthcares newly reorganized cancer program, is recruiting a board certified/board eligible medical hematology/oncology physician for its Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This position will support a rapidly growing and evolving cancer program both locally and across the 23-hospital system.This new physician will support and expand the clinical excellence aligned with discovery and innovation associated with Piedmont Oncology. The ideal BC/BE candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician and work well with other providers both locally and across Piedmont Oncology.The BE/BC candidate will require a Georgia medical license. He/she must have strong communication skills and genuine compassion for the patients and the patients family/support teams. The successful candidate will practice in an outpatient clinic setting and supervise an infusion center in close proximity to the clinic. Piedmont Oncology will provide numerous opportunities to participate in and lead research and care pathway initiatives across the system.
