The Hematology & Oncology Department at CareMount Medical - Optum is a busy, well-established, state-of-the-art practice serving patients throughout Westchester County, Hudson Valley, and the lower Catskills. CareMount Medical, now part of Optum Medical Care, provides comprehensive hematology and oncology services across New York. Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
Unrestricted license to practice in New York or ability to obtain prior to employment
DEA License or ability to obtain prior to employment
Training and experience: Unless otherwise indicated, one year of current experience within the last three years in a comparable job classification required

Responsibilities

General oncology practice, working with 6 other physicians and advanced practitioners, with the potential to develop your own special interest in specific areas of oncology and hematology
Autonomy and independence in practice focusing on outpatient care, but also includes a strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospitals and ambulatory surgery center(s) that provides a full range of medical and surgical Hematology & Oncology care services
Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health
