Requirements

• Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine.
• Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology
• Minimum of 3-years of Ob/Gyn practice post residency
• Practice-based learning and improvement
• Patient care and procedural skills
• Systems-based practice
• Appropriate medical knowledge
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Professionalism
• Must possess good physical health.
• Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time.
• Lifting at least 20 pounds is required.
• Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, manage and treat obstetrical and gynecologic patients in the emergency department and inpatient setting.
• Provide input in the development of standard of care guidelines for Ob/Gyn service line.
