About The Position

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby Minnesota and Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin Minnesota, are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physician. You can expect a busy generalist OB/GYN practice in a physician-led, financially stable organization, committed to both high quality patient care and a high level of patient satisfaction. Locations: Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby and Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin Minnesota Work Schedule Full-time is 4-day work week Mix of clinic, operating room and labor and delivery coverage Call 1:4.Includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
• Must have current, unrestricted state of Minnesota Medical license
• Must be board certified or board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care for OB/GYN in three settings: Outpatient clinic, surgery/operating room, Labor & Delivery
• Serve as a Collaborative physician for several family medicine physicians who provide OB care and one certified nurse midwife
• Functions as part of a care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills, both their own and those of other providers and staff
• Chart in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope (EPIC is our electronic medical record)
• Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to patient care
• Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in the delivery of patient care, patient outcomes and workflows
