About The Position

Corewell Health South is offering an excellent opportunity to join our group of cardiovascular specialists at Lakeland Heart & Vascular. We are recruiting a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team! Provide primary health care services and consultation for patients and families, focusing on wellness and health promotion and surgical care services as appropriate. The group includes 10 physicians, including six interventional cardiologists, three non-interventional, and one electrophysiologist. Teams also include the support of nine advanced practice providers. Competitive compensation package includes generous signing bonus, initial salary guarantee, and the opportunity to bonus based on productivity. Position will cover clinics in St. Joseph and Niles, MI. Office in Niles is located at the Heart Center on the campus of Corewell Health South Niles Hospital. Dedicated rounding rotations in St. Joseph. Access to 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist programs. Epic EHR.

Requirements

• Doctorate Graduate of approved Medical College.
• 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
• LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
• CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required.
• CRT-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association preferred.
• CRT-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care services and consultation for patients and families.
• Focus on wellness and health promotion.
• Deliver surgical care services as appropriate.
• Participate in rounding rotations in St. Joseph.
• Cover clinics in St. Joseph and Niles, MI.
