About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist with a Women's Cardiovascular Focus to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. The successful candidate will work closely with the advanced heart failure team at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans to support regional heart failure initiatives and programs. This position will focus on congestive heart failure (CHF) responsibilities at our Baton Rouge Campus and Hospital. Ochsner Baton Rouge has a multispecialty physician group of over 150 physicians and a 201-bed hospital, along with a new $80M outpatient center. The cardiology group consists of 4 Non-Invasive, 4 Interventional, and 2 Electrophysiology (EP) specialists, and is part of a larger system-wide Department of Cardiology with 71 board-certified cardiologists across eight locations in Southeastern Louisiana.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology.
• Experience in managing patients with congestive heart failure.
• Strong interest in women's cardiovascular health.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with advanced imaging techniques.
• Familiarity with EP and open heart surgery practices.
• Interest in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology services with a focus on women's cardiovascular health.
• Collaborate with the advanced heart failure team to enhance regional heart failure programs.
• Manage patients with congestive heart failure and other cardiovascular conditions.
• Participate in the full-service cardiovascular practice including advanced imaging and interventional procedures.
• Engage in professional development opportunities in teaching, research, and community service.
