About The Position

Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners is looking to add a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to serve as a Nocturnist with our Hospitalist Team at our Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. Position Highlights: Admitting and cross covering of inpatients at our Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown hospital Highly competitive compensation package with excellent benefits including a sign on bonus 9-hour shifts (10p-7a) Working with another Nocturnist and an APP each night to cover the inpatient service needs at the hospital. BC/BE in Internal Medicine required Full-Time employment arrangement with full benefits Hospitalist team is long-established with staffing stability and strong administrative support On-site rapid response team and dedicated code team with 24/7 on-site critical care support Procedures are not required Closed ICU with stepdown unit managed by hospitalist team The hospital is one of the largest in the state with 683 licensed acute and rehab care beds and covers nearly 2 million square feet and spans more than six city blocks. Requirements

BC/BE in Internal Medicine required
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities
