About The Position
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire Hospitalists to join their established Hospitalist Program in Roseville, CA. Rounding Structure: 15.6 shifts per month (avg) 10-hr rounding with an average census of 14-16 7a - 5p Additional admissions based on clinician preference Admitting Structure: 10-hr shifts staggered throughout the day: Day Admit: 7a - 5p Swing Admit: 11a - 9p, 1p - 11p, 3p - 1a Night Admit: 6p - 6a, 7p - 7a Additional Info: Geographic zones, morning huddles, and MDR Robust sub-specialty support Codes are run by the ICU and ER RRT runs by Hospitalist Teaching opportunities Be open to working up to 3 swings and 3 nights per month. Scheduling: Physicians can expect to work a mix of rounding, day admit, swing admit, and night admit shifts every month Physicians (in general) have 2 weekends off each month Rounding is scheduled in 5–7-day blocks; can be longer or shorter if preferred Physicians rotate Teams (i.e. geographic location) regularly
Requirements
- MD or DO degree (or equivalent medical degree) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and board certification or board-eligibility in Internal Medicine (for many positions) at time of hire or Family Medicine with 2 years of direct experience.
- Valid medical licensure in the State of California (or eligibility to obtain it) prior to starting.
- Unrestricted DEA
