About The Position

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a full-time BC/BE Adult Headache Neurologist to join our multispecialty neurology group, the largest in the SF Bay area. Practice opportunity: The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary Headache specialty team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and dedicated medication and procedure authorization coordinators as part of a comprehensive Headache program serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area community and the Sutter Northern CA network The specialized Headache program delivers comprehensive, longitudinal care in an outpatient setting with an intentional emphasis on direct patient management rather than a consultation‑only approach Physicians perform procedures including Botox injections, occipital nerve blocks, trigger point injections and SPG blocks, with nursing staff in charge of reconstituting Botox and preparing nerve blocks to ensure efficient and streamlined procedure days About our Neurology group: The Headache program is part of a larger neurology group that includes specialists in movement disorders, epilepsy, dementia, neuromuscular, vascular, neuro-oncology, pain management, sleep medicine, general neurology, neuro-IR, neurosurgery, neuropsychology and neuroradiology There are regularly scheduled Neuroscience grand rounds and case conferences (neuroradiology, neuro-oncology, and others) Candidate may expand focus of practice to include: Teaching medical students and residents Outpatient Headache clinic in Marin County Clinical research through our affiliation with the CPMC Neuroscience Research Institute Why Sutter Health and SWBMG Sutter Health offers a uniquely physician‑aligned environment, large enough to support innovation and investment, yet local enough to preserve the autonomy, relationships, and purpose that matter to clinicians.   • Fellowship in Headache Neurology
  • UCNS Board Eligibility or Certification in Headache Medicine
