Competitive salaried position with comprehensive benefits package This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Medical Group (a multispecialty physician practice that includes the largest network of doctors in the Mid-South) Learn more on our website: http://www.baptistonline.org [http://www.baptistonline.org] Some notable facts about our Neurocritical Care opportunity: Join a growing, high-acuity Neurocritical Care team currently consisting of 2 physicians, committed to delivering advanced neurologic and critical care across the region Supported by an expanding APP team, with active recruitment underway to build a strong group of 4 dedicated NPs, enhancing clinical support, care continuity, and overall work-life balance Practice out of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis (700+bed tertiary referral center for a 25-hospital system) Joint commission-certified comprehensive stroke center with 24/7 thrombectomy and neurosurgical support Dedicated 12-bed Neuro ICU with case mix including stroke, ICH, SAH, TBI, SE, and post-operative neurosurgical care Equipped with advanced monitoring and technology, including continuous EEG, automated pupillometry, and rapid EEG (Ceribell) Minimal Trauma (Polytrauma is covered by Elvis Presley Level 1 Trauma Center in downtown Memphis) Block Schedule with 1:3 home night call On-site intensivist backup overnight Demonstrated program excellence with outcomes driven by the current team, including a 34.3% reduction in observed-to-expected mortality and a 17.6% decrease in length of stay since 2022 Collaboration with vascular neurology, neurosurgery, interventional neurology, and advanced practice providers Community Highlights: Memphis strikes the perfect balance between urban energy and southern charm.
