For more information, visit www.teamacclaim.org. The Department of Internal Medicine is currently seeking a Part-Time Nephrologist to join our team. The Department of Internal Medicine provides specialty services across the continuum of care at JPS. We currently have over 90 providers who work in a variety of different locations including the Main Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and our Community Medicine Clinics. Our specialties include Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Oncology, Palliative Care, Pulmonology, Critical Care, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Dermatology and Rheumatology. Requirements

Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Residency and/or Fellowship training within specialty.
Texas Medical License
Board Certification or Board Eligible.
Must be comfortable working in a large public/county facility
Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge in area assigned, and competency in assessment techniques, diagnosis and treatment processes that apply to the assigned medical specialty area
Must have good interpersonal, verbal and oral communication skills
Must be self-directed and take initiative to develop and participate in community activities and medical outreach
Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behavior
