Administration of Human Resource Programs

This position is a federal role that requires applicants to have sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties associated with the specific position. Experience can include both paid and unpaid work, including volunteer work through National Service programs and other organizations. Applicants must clearly identify their duties and responsibilities in each position held, along with the total number of hours worked per week. Employees currently in the occupational series as of September 2017 will be considered to have met the basic requirements for their position. Specialty experience may vary depending on the department and specialty of the position.

  • A graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required.
  • Official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools is required for individuals who graduated from foreign nursing schools.
  • Applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination.
  • Possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • Work experience must equip the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
