About The Position

Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Cancer Care is recruiting a BC/BE Medical Oncology/Hematology Physician due to a retirement. The position involves full scope medical oncology & radiation oncology, with clinic & hospital services co-located. The schedule is Monday - Friday with 36 patient contact hours and a shared call schedule of 1:8. The facility uses the Aria EMR system. The practice emphasizes multidisciplinary care teams that consult, plan, and coordinate the best treatment options available, including access to clinical trials and spiritually-centered holistic care for individuals and families. The team is tenured with mentorship availability.

Requirements

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope medical oncology & radiation oncology services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care teams.
• Consult, plan, and coordinate treatment options.
• Engage in multidisciplinary tumor conferences.
• Access and participate in clinical trials.
