Physician-Medical Director
About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Physician to join our long-established FQHC in a dual role that combines direct patient care with medical leadership as Medical Director. This position offers a balanced schedule, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to shape high-quality primary care delivery in a collaborative outpatient environment. Position Overview 0.6 FTE – Direct Patient Care 0.4 FTE – Medical Director / Administrative Leadership The role is structured to allow physicians to remain actively engaged in patient care while providing meaningful leadership and oversight of our medical services.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct primary care services in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including mid-level practitioners (NPs/PAs), for overall primary care management
- Medical leadership and administrative oversight
- Supervision and support of medical providers and clinical staff
- Quality oversight, clinical standards, and performance improvement initiatives
- Participation in organizational leadership and strategic planning related to medical services
