About The Position

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible for our Medical Director role in Urgent Care. This physician would be over 3 clinics in Northern Louisiana. Your main focus for this position is Urgent Care oversight of the APPs, the clinics, and some clinical. Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in a relevant medical specialty.
• Experience in leadership roles within healthcare settings.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic understanding of healthcare finance and reimbursement.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in urgent care settings.
• Familiarity with project planning and execution in healthcare.
• Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.

• Basic knowledge of potential synergies across the System.
