About The Position

Cardiology – Physician Medical Director, Advanced Heart Failure Services at Southcoast Health in Southeastern Massachusetts. This position is focused on delivering exceptional care and services in a high-quality integrated network of Physicians and Advanced Practice Practitioners. The Heart and Vascular Center provides advanced cardiac care with a Heart Team approach, offering a range of services including imaging, catheterization, electrophysiology, and surgical services. The center is recognized as the busiest STEMI center in the region, performing over 2,000 diagnostic catheterizations and 800 interventions annually. The Medical Director will collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive Heart Failure evaluation and management program, supported by the Advanced Heart Failure Program at Tufts Medical Center.

Requirements

• Completion of US Residency & Fellowship.
• Board Certification in Cardiology.
• Board certification/eligibility in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Advanced Heart Failure Services at Southcoast Health.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive Heart Failure evaluation and management program.
• Collaborate with the Advanced Heart Failure Program at Tufts Medical Center.
• Participate in inpatient LVAD/transplant/advanced heart failure service at Tufts.
• Engage in outpatient clinics and LVAD/transplant evaluation meetings.
• Present local cases to the Tufts Heart Failure Team.
• Participate in research and clinical trials.
