About The Position

Open Door Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The Physician will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare team members to manage both acute and chronic medical conditions while upholding the organization’s core values and commitment to excellence. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Open Door Health Services provides comprehensive primary, urgent, preventive, and select specialty services and social support programs for individuals and families, regardless of their ability to pay. Requirements

  • Unlimited license to practice medicine in the State of Indiana.
  • Federal DEA certification.
  • CSR (Controlled substance registration) for the State of Indiana.
  • Board certification or board eligibility.
  • Unlimited privileges at Ball Memorial Hospital.
  • Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Strong community health/public health orientation.
  • Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and patient-centered care
  • Experience working with adults and children
  • Understanding of the social determinants of health and their influence on patient outcomes
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation and diagnostic standards (ICD)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ethical practice standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based, integrated care environment
  • Comfort using electronic health records (EHRs) and digital assessment tools

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of professional medical experience in a clinic setting preferred.
