About The Position
Northside Urgent Care has been proudly providing top-ranked patient care to Greater Atlanta communities since 2016. Medical Assistants are critical to the success of our clinical teams and crucial to providing fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare at our seven Northside Urgent Care centers. Northside offers state-of-the-art onsite digital X-ray, EKG, and common laboratory assays. Our centers are open 7 days per week, 8AM - 8PM. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine
- Must be Board Certified
- Must be licensed by the Georgia State Board of Medical Examiners
- DOT certification required
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License required
- Supervising physician to advance practice providers (PAs or NPs)
Responsibilities
- Provide complete, compassionate care to all patients
- Serve as a role model and leader for that day's team
- Standard office procedures to include, but not limited to, incision and drainage, splinting, suturing, infection management, wound care and more
- Communicate test results, follow-up care, and other treatment plans as appropriate
