The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing and growing relationships with physician practices, independent health care providers, and the physician staff. The Liaison enhances communication and acts as a key resource between Giving Home Health Care and physician offices. Your communication skills, both written and oral, along with computer skills need to be strong. This position requires 3-4 days per week of same-day travel and up to 1000 miles monthly, with monthly reimbursement. M-F 8 to 5pm with occasional early morning start or after 5pm due to physician schedule.

  • Demonstrated success working independently and without close supervision

Responsibilities

  • Contact physician offices and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and respect to build a partnership with a physician that patients may be referred to
  • Learn program policies and procedures, billing processes, and other functions of Giving Home Health Care.
  • Provide information and training to medical offices
  • Perform daily prospecting, rapport building, and conduct follow ups. Develop outreach strategies and target lists to manage/document ongoing physician outreach activity
  • Continually develop medical knowledge to effectively engage with healthcare professionals
  • Communicate urgency to physicians to assess patients and start process to have illnesses approved or declined for the program
