About The Position

Jefferson Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Physician Lead to join and oversee our JeffExpress Urgent Care team in Lehigh Valley West Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities in a growing, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urgent Care Medicine
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
• Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership or administrative experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of advanced practice providers and clinical staff
• Provide direct patient care in an urgent care setting
• Collaborate with Jefferson Health leadership to enhance access, quality, and patient experience
• Support clinical education, mentorship, and performance improvement initiatives
• Variable work hours 8am-8pm (daily)
• Direct patient care hours 1728 per fiscal year
