About The Position

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiologist to join our growing academic faculty within the Department of Radiology. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice advanced interventional radiology in a high-volume tertiary care environment while contributing to education, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration at a nationally recognized academic medical center. Key Position Highlights 100% Interventional Radiology practice in a high-acuity tertiary and quaternary care setting Broad case mix including: Oncology interventions Complex venous and arterial interventions Portal hypertension and TIPS Women’s health and uterine embolization Advanced image-guided procedures Dedicated IR suites with state-of-the-art angiography equipment Strong collaboration with oncology, transplant, vascular surgery, hepatology, trauma and surgical services Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty conferences Academic appointment commensurate with experience and academic focus APP support and dedicated IR nursing staff Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits Package Competitive base salary Relocation assistance Comprehensive retirement program Health, dental, vision insurance with coverage day one Paid time off and CME allowance for professional development, conference attendance and educational expenses LTD/STD and Life insurance Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer Full malpractice insurance coverage including tail coverage

Requirements

  • MD or DO (or equivalent)
  • ABR board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completion of ACGME-accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship
  • ABR CAQ certified/eligible in Interventional Radiology
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
