About The Position

The position is for an Interventional Pain Medicine physician at St Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. This active out-patient practice includes a consultation clinic and an interventional procedure clinic. Physicians will evaluate and develop comprehensive treatment plans for new and existing patients, identifying specific conditions and patient needs to decrease pain and increase function. The role involves collaboration with a full continuum of Neuromusculoskeletal specialists, including Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, and all medicine subspecialties. Outpatient therapy is provided by therapists who specialize in neuro, pediatric, and musculoskeletal pain. The practice may include performing EMGs if desired. There is potential for ownership in an Ambulatory Surgery Center, and the team will consist of two physicians once hiring is complete.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Anesthesiology with fellowship training in Pain Medicine or BC/BE in PM&R with fellowship training in Pain Medicine.
• Competency in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural/facet injections.
• Experience with advanced interventional pain techniques, spine RFA, and radiographic imaging.
• SCS, Ultrasound, and EMG expertise is a plus but not mandatory.
