About The Position

Henry Ford Genesys Hospital is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join their Genesys Heart Center. This role involves providing both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services, including shared on-call responsibilities and performing various cardiac procedures. The position is primarily office-based with a Monday to Friday schedule, focusing on patient care and diagnostic testing.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
• Completion of a Cardiology fellowship program.
• Completion of an Interventional Cardiology fellowship program.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology.
• 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Cardiology is highly desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospital services including shared on-call duties with General Cardiology.
• Perform interventional procedures such as Watchman, TAVR, TEE, PCI, and Diagnostic Heart Catheterization.
• Conduct outpatient diagnostic testing including Echocardiograms, Echo Stress Testing, Nuclear Stress Testing, and Treadmill Stress Testing.
• Manage follow-up and device checks in the Device Clinic.
• Collaborate with a team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers.
