About The Position

WVU Medicine – United Hospital Center seeks an interventional cardiologist to join a well-established group with a strong reputation for providing excellent general and advanced cardiology care to a patient base of close to 300,000. The clinic is located in a medical office building connected to the hospital, for ease of movement between the two. There are three state-of-the-art cath labs situated on the second floor of the hospital, between a 20-bed critical care unit and surgical services. The interventional cardiology program is robust, with a very experienced staff.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain a state medical license.
• Completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine.
• Completed fellowships in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
• Board certified or eligible in General and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular disease.
• Perform catheter-based procedures for congenital and structural heart conditions.
