About The Position

Mercy Hospital Joplin is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our practice in Joplin, MO. Our Mercy Joplin Cardiology team consists of 3 Interventional, 2 EP, 2 Non-Invasive, 4 NPs, and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care. The Mercy Joplin Cardiology Program is located in a 240-bed hospital built in 2015, offering state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. The position includes outreach in one community, a full schedule of clinic visits, assistance in structural heart cases, and interpretation of noninvasive studies including EKG, Echo, Stress test, Nuclear Medicine stress, vascular Ultrasound, event monitors, and holters. Call is 5 days a month, primary/backup, every 6 or 7th weekend. Strong outreach provided by NPs and PAs means a large catchment area for your patients.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology services
• Assist in structural heart cases

• Participate in call rotation (5 days a month, primary/backup, every 6 or 7th weekend)
