About The Position

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join a growing practice serving the Amador County community in Jackson, CA. This opportunity offers exceptional flexibility—physicians may choose an outpatient-only role, include hospital work, perform procedures or focus solely on clinic-based care, based on individual interests and lifestyle preferences. Located just a short drive from El Dorado Hills, Folsom, and Sacramento, this position combines the close-knit feel of rural medicine with convenient access to a full network of specialists and tertiary resources. Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is a vibrant and talented community committed to delivering safe, affordable and high-quality care. Our multi-specialty medical group is comprised of over 1,600 clinicians practicing in seven counties in northern California, most within a 50-mile radius of Sacramento. Jackson is centrally located with easy access to the metropolitan and urban areas with a one-hour drive to Sacramento, a one-hour drive to Lake Tahoe, and a two-hour drive to San Francisco.
