About The Position

This role offers the chance to practice high-quality primary care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Physicians in this practice enjoy: A full-time schedule consisting of 32 hours of direct patient care and 8 hours of administrative time each week A patient population that values long-term relationships and continuity of care Opportunities to incorporate procedural skills such as minor surgery or osteopathic manipulation (optional) The ability to provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, if desired Participation in call rotation with other medical staff

Requirements

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) - American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
  • Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) - American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) - Maine State Board of Licensure of Podiatric Medicine

Nice To Haves

  • Opportunities to incorporate procedural skills such as minor surgery or osteopathic manipulation (optional)
  • The ability to provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, if desired
