About The Position

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center- Shreveport seek applicants for an Internal Medicine position. Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and be eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure. Graduating Medicine residents are welcome to apply. This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine that will work under the direction of our Chair, Department of Medicine. We are looking for a physician to join our expanding primary care team and provide patients with high-quality treatment and diagnostic services. The ideal candidate is an intuitive healthcare professional whose diagnostic abilities are only matched by their concern for their patients. Openings for Academic and Community positions.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality treatment and diagnostic services to patients.
• Work under the direction of the Chair, Department of Medicine.
• Combine teaching, patient care, and possibly medical research.
• Emphasize teaching and provide leadership and guidance to medical students and residents.
