About The Position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a board certified/board eligible physician for a growing Primary Care practice in Douglasville, GA. The role involves providing clinical care to patients in an outpatient setting, ensuring proper documentation for clinical care and billing, and participating in continuing medical education to maintain licensure and board certification.

Requirements

• Active or eligible for a GA State Medical License.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of necessary residency training for the specialty and certification or qualification for certification by the respective specialty board.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical practice of medicine in an outpatient setting.
• Care for patients and manage their health needs.
• Document clinical care and necessary tasks for billing and administrative functions.
• Participate in continuing medical education to maintain licensure and board certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with Wellstar Health System policies and standards.
