About The Position

Corewell Health South is seeking additional PRN/Casual psychiatrists to join our established team in St. Joseph, Michigan. Inpatient psychiatric services and consultation liaison services to medical floors and the Emergency Department are provided. More about our Inpatient Behavioral Medicine Unit 26-bed Inpatient Unit Multi-disciplinary treatment team. Team includes the support of experienced APPs, rotating week on week off schedules Limited Call Requirements Epic EMR.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• Valid Michigan medical license.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric care.

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship training in a subspecialty of psychiatry.
• Experience with Epic EMR.
• Interest in teaching medical students or residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric services.
• Offer consultation liaison services to medical floors and the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
• Support and mentor advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Participate in limited call requirements.
