The Department of Gastroenterology at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible GASTROENTEROLOGISTS to join its practice within the Section of INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE (IBD).

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Responsibilities

• Focus on IBD
• Join an existing, experienced GI/IBD subspecialist
• Participate in an existing, regional, multidisciplinary IBD program
• Work with a dedicated support team of IBD-focused medical assistants, nurses, and clinic-based pharmacists
• Collaborate with colorectal surgery, GI pathology, and GI radiology
• Engage in a highly collegial, 16-physician GI group
• Utilize an integrated practice model with a strong internal referral network
• Participate in GI-dedicated clinical research infrastructure
• Provide care with 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite
• Opportunity to teach in GI fellowship and Internal Medicine residency programs
• Utilize EPIC medical record platform throughout the Ochsner Health System
