About The Position

HOSPITALIST (Casual) East Market – Flexible Locations PRACTICE SPECIFICS Ideal candidates should be flexible team players, willing to address complex issues in hospital medicine within a collaborative environment. A successful candidate would be able/willing to work in-person at multiple sites, as well as do telehealth. Join a team of nearly 100+ hospitalists, including physicians and NP/PAs. Enjoy great flexibility with a casual model and a variety of staffing opportunities. Mileage/rental car and lodging (if desired) are reimbursed for travel from Primary Location. Procedures are not required. Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record throughout the entire Essentia system. Short-term, vent management (up to 24 hours) is required in Virginia. Additional training supplied if necessary. Dedicated nocturnist teams. COVERAGE LOCATIONS Essentia Health – Virginia, MN 30-bed, Level IV Trauma Center. Currently undergoing a $13 million upgrade to its emergency department. Located 60 minutes from Duluth. St. Joseph’s Medical Center – Brainerd, MN 133-bed, Level II Trauma Center. Located in Fargo, ND Essentia Health – Duluth, MN 140-bed multi-specialty hospital with acute dialysis, medical-surgical, psychiatry, and outpatient surgery units. 4-Star Rating from CMS, placing it in the top 27% of all hospitals. Recognized by the American Hospital Association for collaborative efforts to improve community health. Requirements

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine
• BC/BE in Family Medicine with experience in hospital-based care
