About The Position

This position is for a Physician within the Federal service, specifically located in Kayenta, AZ, Crownpoint, NM, and Shiprock, NM. To qualify, candidates must demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties of the position. This includes both paid and unpaid experience, such as volunteer work through National Service programs. Candidates must clearly identify their duties and responsibilities in previous positions, including the total number of hours worked per week. The basic requirements include a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution, a current and unrestricted medical license, and at least one year of supervised clinical experience. Additional requirements for higher grades include specific years of graduate training in the relevant specialty and board certification.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license.
• At least one year of supervised clinical experience.
• Board certification in the relevant specialty for GS-12 and above.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Hospital Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship training in a relevant specialty.

Responsibilities
