About The Position

This position is located in White Earth, MN, and is a federal job opportunity. The open period for applications is from June 11, 2024, to January 31, 2025. To qualify for this position, applicants must demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties associated with the role. This includes both paid and unpaid experience, such as volunteer work through National Service programs like the Peace Corps or AmeriCorps, as well as other professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, or social organizations. All qualifying experience will be credited, including volunteer and part-time work. Requirements

• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 grade level in the Federal service.
• Experience in technical medical laboratory support work or closely related fields.
• Ability to perform laboratory tests and examinations and prepare reports.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a federal service environment.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and examinations including chemical, microbiologic, hematologic, and blood banking tests.
• Prepare reports of findings from laboratory tests.
• Provide technical support in a closely related field, such as biological laboratory technician work.
• Apply methods and techniques relevant to the position.
