About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a Hospitalist to join our team in Fargo, ND. Our ideal candidate is an adaptable, collaborative team player who is dedicated to providing top-quality care to patients. The position involves working in a strong, collegial team atmosphere with 20 full-time hospitalists and NP support. The hospital has 140 beds and operates a closed ICU, with two admitting services scheduled per day, seven days a week.

Requirements

• BC/BE Internal Medicine.
• BC/BE Family Medicine with a minimum of 1 year Hospitalist experience or completion of a Hospitalist fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department admissions, consults, and direct admissions.
• Working with the One Call/Hospital Supervisor team to take transfers from outlying facilities.
• No procedures required.
