About The Position

Greater Portland Health's Health Care for the Homeless team is seeking a part-time Physician to join our highly collaborative and integrated team. Our program provides medical and behavioral health care on the street, in shelters, at housing first locations, and in a traditional medical clinic. To make sure we meet the changing needs of our patient populations, our team needs to be flexible in how and where we provide care. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited medical school with a Maine State license to practice medicine and have a valid DEA number.
Board Certification by the appropriate Board of Medicine within three (3) years of completing a residency program is required.
Be able to be credentialed at assigned hospitals and contractible on GPH insurance plans.
Must not be excluded from participation in federal health care programs.
