About The Position
Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, a distinguished 427-bed non-profit hospital and regional referral center, invites applications for a Internal Medicine Residency Faculty Member position. Serving an extensive 17-county region in Athens and northeast Georgia, our center provides a Level II trauma center, a Level III NICU, and a vast network of esteemed primary care physicians and specialists dedicated to delivering comprehensive care to patients across all age groups. Requirements
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM or AOBIM)
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Georgia
- At least two years of clinical experience preferred, with openness to considering emerging talents in the field
- A strong dedication to comprehensive and compassionate patient care
Responsibilities
- Mentoring and guiding residents
- Supervising residents in clinic
- Delivering both small group and lecture-based education
- Serve as an advisor to residents
