About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a General Surgeon to join our team at the Jamestown Clinic in Jamestown, ND. This position offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including additional call pay with the community hospital. The new state-of-the-art Level IV community hospital is adjoined to a new clinic building, featuring 25 beds, 4 CRNAs, and 3 ORs. While special procedures such as C-sections are preferred, they are not required. The anticipated weekly work schedule includes a block schedule at the community hospital (JRMA) and other days seeing patients in the clinic for procedures and surgeries. The General Surgery call expectation for Essentia Health is 1 weekend per month, 4 weekdays per month, and 1 holiday per year. The JRMC has no general surgery call expectation or requirement. An ultrasound unit is coming soon for the surgeons. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated surgeon to join a busy small-town, high-tech practice.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery.
