About The Position

York Hospital is seeking an experienced Board Certified General Surgeon to join our General Surgery Team. This is a full time position, working in a hospital based General Surgery Practice located in York, Maine. Our community hospital is licensed for 46 beds and enjoys a clinical affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital. York Hospital includes a large ambulatory primary care network which provides a strong surgical referral base. Surgical facilities include 5 OR suites with regular general surgery access to a DaVinci Xi robot, strong GI presence with advanced endoscopy including ERCP, a 5 bed ICU, and Interventional Radiology support. Call is one in four. Fellowship training in colorectal surgery preferred. York Hospital offers a competitive salary and benefits package, strong nursing and support staff.
