Requirements

• Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency or fellowship program upon hire.
• Licensed in the state of Texas.
• Board Certified and/or Board eligible.
• Must have completed residency and practicing or be in residency when applying.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general gynecological care of women.
• Provide care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system.
• Concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of general health problems specific to the female anatomy.
• Focus on ailments such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders.
• Specialize in childbirth, treating and counseling women throughout their pregnancy.
• Provide prenatal diagnoses, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Meet both medical and surgical needs of women throughout their adult lifetime.
