About The Position

Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Cardiologist in O'Fallon, IL. This organization works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), a multi-institutional health care system serving communities throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. Requirements

Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
Board Certified or Board Eligibility
Licensed physician in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty
Successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program
Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients
Clinical doctorate

Responsibilities

Maintain a Monday - Friday weekly schedule
Participate in rotating call
Perform high volume coronary intervention procedures
Conduct cardiac imaging, including Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, Echo, Nuclear Cardiac Imaging, and Vascular Imaging
Participate in established structural heart procedures involving complex TEE
Provide General Cardiology call at HSHS St. John's Hospital for 2.5 days per month
