Visas Accepted H1B or J1 Specialty Gastroenterology Practice Details Marshfield Medical Center is in search of a BC/BE Advanced Gastroenterologist to join our established team as an Adult GI-Hospitalist in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The incoming physician would join a well-established GI service line supported by Advanced Practitioner Clinicians and numerous other resources at a state-of-the-art facility! This is a broad-based position that includes inpatient consults. Advanced ERCP training is required. EUS experience and skills are highly preferred, but not required. - Features a 7 day on/7 day off schedule rotation with options for schedule flexibility within the annual work week requirement - 26 annual work weeks - 12 hours onsite work then 12 hours of call from home - Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider coverage seven days a week - Shift weeks are Monday - Sunday - This role will also include performing 3-4 outpatient scopes daily when on schedule in a dedicated Endoscopy Suite - Coverage of only one Trauma Level II facility, 500-bed Hospital We strongly encourage our physicians to be involved in medical education and research to continue building our strong foundation of patient care, research and education for years to come. Job Description Gastroenterology Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examinations, admit (if applicable to the setting), provide consultative services, evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to adolescent and adult patients presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the stomach, intestines, and related structure, such as the esophagus, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas including biopsies.
