About The Position

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Certified/ Board eligible Gastroenterologist with Advanced Endoscopy training to join our growing department. Highlights of the position include a state of the art Endoscopy Lab with the latest EUS equipment, impedance, pH, and manometry capability located at Ochsner Medical Center - Baton Rouge. This is a clinic-based position with dedicated endoscopy days, and a team of Advanced Practice Professionals will assist with consults, follow-up clinic appointments, and patient overflow. The weekly call rotation is shared amongst physicians within the group (clinic and hospital consult), with 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite as well as a GI Hospitalist. The call rotation is 1:5, and there is an integrated practice model with a strong internal referral network. Support is available from specialists and sub-specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Advanced Endoscopy training.
